Regarding size, the example provided in the article is hardly a small interchange. There should be more than enough room to make a partial clover in the space provided.

I still don’t understand the advantage of this design over a standard A4 partial clover interchange. Traffic coming off of the highway still needs to wait for a traffic light to merge with street traffic and street traffic going onto the highway can do so without an obstruction, but the parclo doesn’t require

I’d like to imagine that a Lotus SUV would just be a Ford Fusion. It’s bigger, sits higher, seats more people, and has more cargo capacity than the rest of their lineup.

Most plug-ins will burn the gas to prevent it from going stale if it hasn’t been burnt in a while. On my C-Max, if I haven’t burnt a tank of gas in 18 months the vehicle will revert to a standard hybrid mode until the vehicle is down to 1/8 of a tank before allowing EV mode to resume.

The non plug-in version likely has a smaller battery in the range of ~1 kWh while the plug-in probably has about ~7-8 kWh based on the range estimates. There’s a trade-off to be made going to the plug-in, and aside from price it’s probably the loss of cargo space to accommodate the larger battery.

Regarding range penalties, I don’t have a Bolt but I just ran some quick numbers on my PHEV’s electric range.

I think youd be correct. More video from the scene shows fire crews attempting to cool the wreck before it exploded.

I think you’re a bit misinformed about the current IMSA prototype class. Currently, there are 2 classes of cars competing in the P class, DPi spec cars which allow manufacturers to supply their own engine, and Global LMP2 spec cars which use the spec Gibson engine as regulated by the ACO. IMSA has had a hard time

Not an FJ40. It’s different enough that a layperson can tell the difference.

Neutral: I’m sure I’ll get a lot of stares here, but I’m pretty sure I’ll never own a purely petroleum powered car again. I currently drive a PHEV and I suspect my future will only hold more PHEVs or Electrics.

There’s only one Don’t Bring Me Down, and the one you posted is severely lacking in trilled ‘Groos.’

I don’t trust Hollywood to make a decent trucking movie, but I think there’s still stories to be told that revolves around trucking.

I believe its a very short throw shifter.

You’d be surprised. I read an article a couple of years back about the head chef of McDonalds and the logistics of the restaurant. The chef mentioned that he had designed an eggplant parmesan sandwich that could be quickly and efficiently cooked and assembled by untrained teenagers in a McDonalds kitchen, but upon

I don’t know, they’d be competing not only with the Miata but also the Nissan iDX and the Chevrolet Code 130R so it may be hard to break into the small sports car market.

The PJ/Mecha Richter run of Battleblock Theater with dev commentary still makes me crack up whenever I watch it.

Im surprised those secondary brake lights are to code. In the US, a brake light needs to have 50 cm^2 of illuminated area, and those secondary brake lights look pretty small.

I realize your statement’s facetious, but the high hoods are actually better for kids than adults. When adults are struck by a high hood car, the force of the collision is concentrated around the hip and lower abdomen, leading to increased internal injuries and possible fractures to the hip and spine. When children
