The LMP2s had a bit more torque to accelerate out of the corners than the Mazdas, but lap times were still pretty even for the prototypes ranging from 1:13.8 to 1:14.7. In IMSA, the 7 segment displays track position in class, not overall. The prototypes and GTLMs use red LEDs, while the GTDs (and presumably PCs if the class still existed) use green.

It’s damage per missile (multiplied by number of missiles). For example, an SRM6 would have a damage characteristic of 8 (x 6).

SRM and LRM carriers are the bane of my lance. The SRM mounts 10 x SRM6 and the LRM mounts 3 x LRM20, so both are firing 60 missiles per round and knocking down mechs with a single salvo. If an LRM carrier shows up on a base defend mission you can wave goodbye to your ‘All buildings survive’ bonus.

I swear the AI has an increased chance to land head shots. It feels like I can count on one hand the number of times a stray shot has hit an enemy mech’s head and injured the pilot, yet every match 2 or 3 of my pilots take damage from stray headshots and are taken out of action for 20 days.

I’m having a lot of fun with the game, but I think there needs to be some re-balancing with regards to the vehicles. Most of the vehicles can be safely ignored because the mechs are a bigger threat, but as soon as I see an SRM or LRM launcher I immediately make it a priority target. No mech can take 60 missile impacts…

I’ve had 4 people correct me about Overwatch, and yet on further reading Overwatch is not one of the 4 games affected. The 4 games that are explicitly listed as breaking the law allow users to trade items, giving gamblers an opportunity to cash out.

I think the problem is that oil is just too profitable. Some regions have completely hitched themselves to the oil train so they would rather pump as much as possible and reap the benefits today than reduce their exports and spread the benefits over a longer timeline.
