One does not simply open an automotive plant in another country on a whim.

I originally wasn’t paying any attention to this car, but... it comes with an integrated iPhone dock, so let’s just move that from the No to the Maybe column.

I was severely disappointed with the Volt when I was looking. I fully intended to buy one until I test drove it. I ended up with a Ford C-Max instead. The C-Max only has 35km of EV range but a better ride and it’s much more practical than the Volt. 35km is enough to get me from the office to home and back during the

The ground wire guy is holding it during refueling.

That layout could work if you just put in a room divider or screen to separate the toilet from the rest of the apartment (though it would suck because it would also block the only window), but I think a bigger issue with that apartment is that there isn’t a kitchen or sink to speak of (unless that green area beside

Some plastics will leach harmful chemicals if left in contact with something for a long time. For example, I believe bottled water increases its concentration of certain chemicals if it’s stored for a long time due to the plastic releasing chemicals into the water. Chances are there’s some carcinogenic solvent or

Tell me what new software-driven feature you like on a new ride and why. Because so far I think the ‘improvements’ are few and far between.

I think the fans were wrong here. I understand the complaint about most of the Switch icons but Kingdoms is a game about pixelated minimalism which I feel the original icon captured well. At the very least I think the new icon should be downrezzed so that the whole picture is at the same resolution as the new logo.

That may be too close to the source material and earn them a lawsuit from EA. I liked the funny fictitious diseases as well so I hope this team comes up with a good stable of diseases and treatments all their own.

Have a look at the scene again. The truck is 90% of the way into the loading bay and only had to straighten out to finish parking, meaning he was backing up safely and effectively, but the autonomous car parked in the arc that needed to be clear for the truck to complete its turn. If anything I would say the

That only applies if the motorcycle always gets to the front of the line, which is not the scenario that Panda described. In stopped traffic, if an accelerating car is behind an accelerating car and a motorcycle that was splitting wants to get into the gap between them, the car behind will need to accelerate more

I don’t encounter lane splitting very often, but the one place I do see it on my commute is a 35 zone where everybody goes 45 practically bumper to bumper, except for the motorcycles who feel the need to weave back and forth and lane split so they can maintain 55-60.

But by filtering forward you’ve delayed the cars you’ve passed unless you expect the car you end up beside to accelerate as if you aren’t there. Most likely the car need to delay accelerating until a car length has opened up in front of them to allow you back into the line of traffic meaning that every car behind them

Neutral: I understand that vehicle manufacturers want to get their self-driving tech on the roads in order to test it in real traffic, but I really wish they weren’t allowed to drive fully autonomously like Waymo’s test fleet. The tech still isn’t mature enough and I personally believe that full autonomy won’t be

Also not acceptable, is sharing a lane with a bike. Motorcycles don’t take up a full lane and are entitled to use the whole lane, just like you are.

You could buy this 2018 GT-R for $100,000:

Ew. I was thinking of grabbing it if it tried to recapture that old CoD feel, but if the game encourages running and gunning with low-damage rifles then I’m out. I’d much rather see one or two shot kills with a reliance on positioning than a giant melee where G.I. Hero saves the day time and time again.

Your example only works if a single manufacturer has a monopoly on the market. If two or more automakers are competing and one automaker was making a $30k car for $37k, another manufacturer would just sell their electric car for $35k and dominate the market.

Now playing

Just like flashing lights and bells on slot machines, I bet this mechanic is designed to make boxes seem more exciting and normalize their use in order to encourage others to participate. Nobody would realistically care about what skins you just unlocked except to get excited by proxy if you happen to get a desirable

I feel like you’ve glossed over the point that these incentives are to drive investment into the charging infrastructure. Without a charging infrastructure nobody will buy an EV, and without EVs nobody will invest in chargers. It doesn’t matter how expensive or cheap an EV is, nobody will buy one if it can’t be
