A Japanese dev literally came out and said they only used the Microsoft exclusivity because of the funds and support that Microsoft offered, and then used the assets that Microsoft helped to build to create a superior port for the PS3 with added content and extra features. If I were Microsoft, I’d stop funding

747.

Sold at a loss according to Boeing’s cost estimates and Boeing’s price estimates.

We’ve reached a point where even cars are being built out of the cheapest pot metal available. How long until I can buy a $500 disposable Honda at Harbor Freight?

I haven’t played iRacing, but I get the impression it’s something you really need to be dedicated to. There isn’t a single player mode with AI drivers so you will only encounter traffic if you play online and the game ranks you based on how safe you drive and may restrict you to slow vehicles if you cause too many

How many thousands of dollars of damage was done to his car over a minor racing incident? I’m not saying it’s the smartest thing he could do, but I understand where he’s coming from. What started as a minor collision that may have only required a new tire and banging some sheet metal flat ends with his entire front

How long until Ferrari starts developing and selling an open-wheeled street car with new technology that migrates into their F1 efforts for free? I’m sure that if a budget cap is enacted the manufacturer teams will get around the cap with some fancy accounting while the privateer teams get left even further behind.

Now that I think of it, perhaps the bigger issue is infectious diseases. If somebody with TB is left on the train, you only need to quarantine one car’s worth of passengers, but if you pull them onto the platform you risk infecting everybody on the platform as well as any passengers on any trains that pass by. It

Yeah, not in NYC but I see that too. If they’re conscious and mobile, just shuffle them onto the platform and get one of the booth operators to keep an eye on them until the paramedics arrive!

Damn, I would’ve made the drive down for a combined IMSA and Indy race. As it stands, I’ll go to an IMSA race over an Indy race any day but seeing both of them on the same weekend would’ve been awesome. Nothing against Indycars, I just prefer Prototypes and GTs and think the racing’s better at IMSA race weekends.

Wow, I had not heard about the touring cars in the Continental Tire series. It really seems like IMSA’s got their finger on the pulse of racing fans and teams. The DPis really seemed to hit a sweet spot with manufacturers with regards to performance and budget, and nearly every class is seeing more racers on the track

Just bought a new car. The first time I went to refuel, I realized I didn’t know what grade was recommended so I pulled out the manual for the first time. The manual was over 600 pages long and the first mention of fuel grades was in the 150s, not on a quick-reference sheet anywhere near the start or end of the book.

It sounds like it’ll just be a re-release of the first game with a couple new vehicles and a new map. I gather that the dev and the original publisher had a falling out so the publisher sold the rights, and now the re-released game from the new publisher will be the only one that receives ongoing patches and support.

Plus, to add to your McDonalds example, imagine if the employees were only paid per burger served. The employee has no control over how many people come in and order burgers on any given day, but their only hope for compensation is to give the company the exclusive right to their time and hope that enough people order

I’d hate to see him in any other settings. Just imagine living with that every day.

This is a new movie? With the exception of the M3, the cars, clothing, color balance, and compositing of those screenshots makes me think this is a heist film from the 70s.

I watched Black Clover last night it seems like it could be an alright show, but man I hope they really dial back the screaming. I swear one of the characters could not speak in a normal tone and had to yell every single line for the whole episode.

Let’s do some further digging.

Your question about solar panels got me crunching some numbers. There’s a lot of math here, so feel free to skip to the bottom where I’ll give a recap.
