I was just thinking that. Seems like it should either be hit by pitch or obstruction (he is out). Based on the video, it does not seem like it is in any way the batter’s fault. So, I would give him the base.

You do see why having a main character that has to think long and hard about rather or not he wants to prevent a mass extinction event of an entire planet makes him unrelatable, right?

There are multiple mentions in the Avengers regarding saving civilians. There is a realization that not everyone can be saved, but there are efforts to do so. At times the attempts to save civilians are more at the forefront than others, but it is there.

She was certainly annoying at the start. She grows on you though.

It was a batter show than it had any right to be this year. Sting losing was the only sour note of the night. The most shocking thing to me though is how they took that debacle of a main event and saved it. I think that sometimes people get the lines blurred, especially children. In this case, I don't think that is the issue though. The issue here is the writing is so inexcusably poor. Anyone with even a high school understanding of story composition would have let that abomination of a main event happen.

Actually, it is wrong. It is making an assumption that latinos that do not speak English do so out of some sort of contempt for American culture or perceived superiority. In reality, the reasons are far more complex and trying to simplify it like that comment did is not helping the discussion.
