The problem is that paying for MP is now an unfortunate reality. Sony and Microsoft are doing it now and they are likely to never go back. So, you can call it a trojan horse, but the market conditions are really just different than they were at the start of last gen and the costs of maintaining infastructure for…
Well, PS + started long before the announcement of the PS4 and was offering free games since its inception. But, sure, it was just a Trojan horse created to justify PS4 MP paywalls. That works too.
Exclusives already out: Infamous Second Son, Driveclub, Resogun, Transistor, Knack, Killzone Shadow Fall, TLoU Remastered.
I am going to blow your mind right now with something you clearly have never thought of: If you don't like the editorial slant of Gawker media, then just leave. It saves you time, it saves them time.
Freedom Wars has already been confirmed to work on the hardware. So, between you and me both trying our hardest, we came up with 5 games of note that cannot be used out of a list of hundreds upon hundreds (and that does not include PSP and PS1 classics, which will all work without exception).
That was my first thought too. Does not seem to work though.
As a thought exercise, think of some of the games that will not work. I have not been able to even think of 5 so far. Of major releases, I have only been able to come up with:
Indeed. Also, as I found out from some later replies, it turns out that solution would not even work.
This. A million times this. That was the first time I put a game down and had to take a moment to weep.
Every Colossi in Shadow of the Colossus. There are spoiler related reasons for feeling bad about it, but even before those things are revealed, you just know you are doing something so obnoxiously wrong and that you should feel guilty.
Yeah, I just replied to the original poster saying that I tested it out via the vita and that it did not work. I am really surprised, I thought it was a sure thing that it would work...
My playstation tv will hopefully be here tomorrow. I was assuming it would work when I replied, but after my reply I decided I would try it with my vita (playstation tv seems to be very similar to vita for remote play and so they should be comparable). It does not work with the vita, and so that may be the same for…
If the X1 had some sort of completion marker like platinum trophies on playstation, then I would probably me a lot more willing to do some light achievement hunting. As it stands now though. I have very little interest in them because it feels like I am working towards no tangible end point.
I assume they will at some point, but there is an alternative in the mean time if you have a PS4. You can just remote play netflix/hulu from your PS4 to the Playstation tv. Not perfect, but definitely doable in the mean time.
I have a PS TV pre-ordered (hoping it comes in tomorrow). As far as I know, that is not possible though because remote play just mirrors what would be on the screen. I will test this out though when I get mine.
That is fairly understandable. As a general note though, server issues in new releases are becoming far too common. If you know your game is going to have a significant online community, then you should be building that infrastructure in advance of release.
Better yet, do they sell Dragon Ball Z condoms?
