Ok. (I think it's pointless to argue about meanings after someone clarified it) Than I'm with you on this.

You said 'her' money she is spending, but being unhealthy in a country with general health insurance it is not only her money. Since the comment you replied to said nothing about the money spend on cosplay stuff, it isn't wrong to assume that you made a general statement.
I zoomed into Germany, they don't have data on us either.
As far as I know, Japan has a general health insurance - so it's not only her money. The government encourages people there.
As a european, it's still a cultural shock for me watching the reaction of american people when someone mentions weight.
Well localizing Miku is way cheaper - that's why. But the titles don't exclude each other.
I would have liked to see Ingrid.
She puts the cute in prosecute.
Maybe, you have to ask japanese female artists - and if they do, I think there is less chance of it leaking to blogs or websites in the west.
It is old but I don't mind finally seeing something like this posted on kotaku. Making games or mods for different demographics is not a zero sum game. You don't get something like this mod if less mods existed that target people who like women. The same for games, it is a logical fallacy to assume making less games…
Already had my eyes on this.
No compromise, no zero sum approach. In the MMO genre for example I exclusivly play games that let me dress my character in ridiculous outfits. I loved Tera for that reason, surprisingly that game had more female players than most other MMOGs I played - but that discussion would open another whole new path and I don't…
We argue if men can be sexualized.
Wait...
Completly understandable.
I'm a guy, I like to play as sexy female character. Only people I see playing strong beefcakes in MMOs for example are kids or some grown men that think it's gay playing as a woman. Basicly men unsure of their sexuality.
I think masking what you really want isn't necessary.
Great interview - the only thing I miss is listening to Cerny's voice... hehe. A video would have been nice. But it was a good read, thanks Stephen.
