anyone else hear the "and the whole food court stood up and clapped" at the end? Because I could swear it was there, maybe in an earlier draft. Because it's always there.

sorry, but I've seen umpteen gazillion pictures of the Mona Lisa and not one of them would prevent me paying to get into the Louvre to see the original.
I tip in cash too, because that way I don't have a floating phantom charge on my debit card (they charge the bill and then if you tip on the receipt they do a second charge of the revised amount and you have to wait till the first pending charge drops off)
me too
I just broke my own record for losing a job, one and a half days. My first day I was made to work a 12 hour shift and had to ask repeatedly for a break. Finally got one 15 minute break, but only by going over the supervisor's head and talking directly to the fricking CEO who happened to be on site. Not enough time to…
Fat dicks, skinny dicks. Dicks who climb on rocks.
yeah we all go to the theater, sweetie. Me, I'll be seeing GOTG twice and TMNT nonce.

Down syndrome is not a catastrophic birth defect, as not only can (and do) they survive having it, they can thrive and become productive members of society. It's not like being born without a brain stem or with Tay Sachs where you WILL die within a few months if that anyway or only exist in a vegetative state where…

"Legolas, what do your elf eyes see?"
saving General Leo from Kefka in FF6, however... ;-)
apropos to this weekend being SDCC, my rule for the dealer's room (also swap meet/flea market/multi family garage sale/etc) is to make one pass around the room first and look at everything before buying. If that thing you wanted to buy on the first pass isn't there when you get back, it wasn't meant to be yours. But…
noticed that today is the 7th anniversary of the publication of Deathly Hallows, which means the series has been over for as long as the whole story took place (how long Harry was at Hogwarts).
yep, it's time to drag this out:
oh yay, when I got my refurbished laptop it had Avast installed already, I'd never heard of it but so far I love it. Also I can tell if some other program in the background is stuck or churning because the little logo keeps flipping around, not enough to be irritating, but enough to be noticed.
it wasn't even open when I left there 2 years ago, I know they were getting rid of Studio 54 and putting something else in there, I'm guessing that's the space. But they've gone through so many clubs on that property and there are other companies (hello, Light Group!) that would be happy to fill that space with…
apples and octopi. It's not about whether you agree or not. It's the "I'm the man so I know more/better than you do, even in your own field of expertise which is not even my field of expertise, here let me detail how."
