It is VERY good. Good enough such that I’ve gone from a G8 GT, to G8 GXP (auto), and now a ‘16 SS (stick). Couldn’t be happier. The looks are WAY understated but that is part of the charm. The list of LS3 mods are endless as well. Absolutely not a car for everyone.

Sounds like it was an actual plan and maybe worked? Neato. Got my Chevy SS out of it too. ICING.

Paid the full 50 for my 6MT last year. Not a single regret.

Makes me want to go hoon my Chebby SS so bad.

Full size sedan, V8, RWD, stick. Chevy maintenance costs. Can come in under budget if you buy used, and is within budget new with warranty. $8k away from a supercharger, cam , and 600 RWHP.

Needs quad pipes, RWD, 10 speed tranny and LT1/LT4 options.

I don’t know, but I believe it to be a significant % as the car is so unknown, that any actual buyer is going to be particular about the transmission.

I did my part in 2016.

ESP and TCS are going to change that’s for sure. I think you are wrong about late braking and missing apexs etc. The vehicles are all on track at the same time. Exploiting the weaknesses of the sensor suite and the programmed responses of other vehicles may yield some crazy situations until everyone has software up to

The mid-engine will sell to the same retirees that the current does. There is no escape for Corvette that I can see.

The C1-3 are beautiful vehicles. But those aren’t going to help get young folks into a new ‘vette.

Current plugins offered alongside a manufacturers traditional ice offerings suffer. Maybe it’d be different for Tesla, but why take the chance.

Doesn’t happen with electronic parking brakes!

Makes me imagine someone haggling a salesman over the purchase price of one of these vehicles and then immediately demanding they buy it back.

Ok.

Yup, says that in the very last portion of the “Example” section which I believed held no applicable information. Surprise! That’s what I get for skimming a poorly formatted article.

The article has treated the current form as ready for consumption. So that is how I proceeded.

I didn’t find it hard to comprehend. It is just a ridiculously outmoded way of displaying information for consumption. It is an embarrassment to have these tables anywhere other than an addendum.

I did not read the example section where that information was listed. This was an article that didn’t warrant a full reading. If that had been listed first, there wouldn’t have been the need for such a lengthy article I guess.
