Such a great look. Screams “my bro is def innocent.”

Thank goodness Microsoft doesn’t appear to be doing that with Activision.
I work at a state university, and we recently lost our previous CIO, who was fine with our remote work. We’re actively hiring a new CIO now, and I assume they will come in from private industry, and will want us back in the office. If that happens, I’ll go in because I have to. However, my productivity will dip. I’ll…
Good luck to them. The other DC movie that retooled and touched up and pushed back for several years didn’t do so hot. Fingers crossed this is better than the Flash.
I think Burton was trying to say “continued use of something I created without my involvement” and when trying to recall a word or phrase for that, cultural appropriation is what came up. Poor choice of words, I don’t think he considered the gravitas that goes along with cultural appropriation. If he took a moment to…
Fortunately there are a lot of other smart watches that are repairable that RtR conscious folks can purchase.
I’d rather have a company redirect to a reliable information source like the CDC, over say, a post about Nicki Minaj’s cousin’s swollen testicles. If they could keep that up through the end of the next year’s presidential election and/or the next major pandemic, it would be nice.
Huzzah. Long overdue.
Once Sudafed became something you had to ask for at the counter, this was the drug that was put everywhere as a decongestant that you didn’t have to ask for. It never worked for me, I suppose because it’s worthless as a drug for everyone. If only pseudoephedrine wasn’t used in cooking meth, right?
Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah! I think Disney left out a film.
I hope that the live action Aristocrats remake has all the comedians that told the joke in the last movie back, plus adds some newer, grosser comics, like Sarah Sherman.
I loved the 1978 Battlestar Galactica and was livid at what they made in 2004. It was not at all the same plot, and by reusing the name of the show and characters, it felt like they were trying to piss people off. I assume what happened is someone had an idea for a new show and couldn’t sell the USA network on it…
What a well-reasoned and explained response! Take your star.
Erm. That photo is possibly dated. Yes.
I noped out at Tencent.

Some of his showrunners, especially the one before his current one, sound like they would have been large parts of the problems the employees go into for the story. I hate to hear that, I’ve always really liked Jimmy Fallon, and hope that he and his team can use this as a wakeup call to improve things.
The “There I Ruined It” channel has lots of examples of AI voices being used for things that are hilarious. It’s also horrifying how good they are. It’s going to make the future very difficult for us, because it’s going to contribute to making media that is hard for humans to distinguish AI-fabricated media from…
Could he lose his right to a trial by jury? I thought there were instances where a judge could do that. I know defendants can waive that right, but if he’s doing this on purpose that might be our legal system’s only recourse. And then he can claim that the judge was out to get him. I hear he may have said that before…
I think I enjoy the references to things the audience knows and recognizes where instead of “geeking out” the callback is just there. The visible call back we’re meant to enjoy is there for US, as the audience, to geek out about rather than other people on screen. (I will say that almost every time I see or read about…
