It used to be (this was maybe 2 years ago) that if you sign into Netflix on a PC browser, go into your account settings and turn off “Play next episode automatically” under Settings->Playback Settings->Autoplay that it would stop the video clips in the apps I was logged into, but since I don’t use smart devices often…

Netflix Tweaked is a chrome add-in that will not allow it to download and stream more than a half-second preview of video/noise. it’s not perfect, but it makes me happy as someone who regularly uses Netflix in a web browser.

I bought my 360's rechargeable battery packs back in 2008 or so. They still hold a charge for weeks.
