Oh my gosh. This made my day. First foreign language twitter user I’ve ever followed.

I live in a small college town, and don’t really have a need to use Uber, so I haven’t seen the app. If the app requires you to manually enter the multiplier, but doesn’t show you a projected total cost (the app can access the GPS, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t be able to project total cost) then I would say that

My best friend made a collector’s edition of Bubsy 3-D that he gave me last Christmas. I need to make a youtube video of it. I will try to remember to take pictures of it and post them here when I get off work.

This under-appreciated little gem is still playable on Wii U, or Wii, if you have one sitting around, and will run you a dollar or so at Gamestop if you can find a physical copy in the store. Otherwise it’s $16 or less on teh Amazons. I recommend playing it in addition to the game mentioned here.

I thought Bea Arthur died years ago.

I never knew there was an English translation of the phrase “I’m unaware that people aren’t interested in me.” but there you go.

I hate that people are taking joy in making fun of your comment than actually pointing out that since Gawker is consolidating its sub blogs that it just spent the past several years creating, the content that was in foxtrot alpha is now considered part of Jalopnik. So as much as it might not be your thing, the reason

I’m so glad someone put a goto statement in there.

I usually read giz for the stories, not so much the comments. Hopefully they’re respectful and stuff. I usually only read comments on gawker or kotaku for entertainment, and lifehacker if I’m looking for useful info.

Typically most changes on Gawker media sites tend to be bad. (Kinja anyone?) I will keep my fingers crossed, as I liked io9 and Gizmodo before, hopefully the content from io9 doesn’t drive away people that are into tech and not sci-fi, and vice versa.

I just came here to quote and then favorite that line from the article.

If it ever did come out, I’d be shocked if it was above Duke Nukem Forever in terms of quality. Development hell does bad things to games that manage to make it out to release.

If you don’t plan to play this game with other people, it’s simply not worth your time.

You can tell he’s a man by the way that he never stopped the buggy once to ask for directions.

Confirmed!

Wasn’t this guy also in Chubby Cherub for the NES?

I like this because, more than once, I bought a game I wanted for one discount, only to wake up two days later and see it on the 4 hour whatever emergency discount for less than what I had just paid for it the day before. I’d rather just know I was getting the lowest price so as not to stress about “is this the time

Why cancel it when they could find a new host? Not that I won’t miss Joel, but there are lots of comedians who could come in and do a good job and make The Soup theirs the way Joel and the people before him have.

A lot of these seem to be the high points, not the weirdest things. Minoriteam should have been listed. I just had to purchase it, as a US citizen, from an Australian because that’s the only region its been released on DVD.

Its kind of BS that there isn’t any sort of story on Gawker’s main page outlining this so people can go register their disgust with Gawker’s management. I just googled and got the details from practically every site not in the Gawker network. It sounds like what they did with Kinja a couple of years ago, where they’re
