Alright, I guess I’ll give this game another shot. I’ve been trying it on and off for the past few years, and I just can’t seem to get into it after like 8 hours or so. Does it really pick up later? Or am I doing something wrong?

Yes, fully agreed! While I love Trigger and think it’s the better overall game, the musical experience of Cross hits me way harder, and I think the music is just somehow even better!

Random is annoying when you’re going for specific cards, but it’s so much fun when Plus and Same are in play! It really makes you stop and think a little bit, and making a comeback is so satisfying.

Same! I love how fleshed out the card game is in the world, like it’s a real hobby that people play. (Apart from the character specific cards, like who would even think to make them, and how did they? Who invented this game within the world of VIII??? And-)

I too was ecstatic when the double-jump (and at the same time, the dive kick) became available in Bloodstained! It’s soooooo free-ing and injected another level of excitement into my game!

FINALLY! So many chills from the first note of the song. The highlight of the show for me so far, haha. This game is incredibly flawed, but I can’t help myself. I love it so much!!!
