It was a great fight, but of course the movie already had me hooked from the opening mission after he kicked a guy so hard he flew off the boat. What a kick!

I’m waiting on that too! Although with Square-Enix’s track record, I don’t have the highest hopes for how it might turn out...

It is rather strange how ordinary it looks, kinda like XV, but at least it features some weird architecture, like the garden, and other fantastical elements (unlike XV).

And there’s still no love for Final Fantasy VIII... I mean, I’m glad there’s IX (the best) but VIII is so out there it needs to be experienced to truly understand! New generations must know and study why it's so polarizing!

Oh please let Jason Mantzoukas’ character just be Pimento from Brooklyn Nine-Nine undercover as a hitman. Or DEREK! branching out from the medium place and looking for assassins on a crazy theory that some could qualify for the good place.

The scene I’m imagining of Ben Mendelsohn playing with cats in full make up to teach them he’s a human just like us is warming my heart :)

I’ve been meaning to see Twomanji, and I’ve heard it’s surprisingly good, but I would love it if for 3manji they had a whole new cast of players in control of the gaming avatars if only to see the actors really have fun and stretch their acting chops!

I really loved the “I have nothing to prove to you” moment at the end! Oddly enough, I love it as much as the moment in Winter Soldier where Batroc taunts Cap about being more than just a shield and Cap puts it away for a hand-to-hand fight, even though they go completely differently, hahaha

Yes, cast Oscar Isaac as Solid Snake. He already has experience playing a guy getting beat up by an AI in Ex Machina, getting tortured in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and getting shot by so many lasers he disintegrated in X-Men: The One Where He Was Blue.

I think you’re right about fan backlash being pretty quick, but I can’t remember reading any negative reviews for them from other gaming sites in the lead up to its release. There would be some parts that say, “Yeah, it’s a bit linear, but if you’re a fan, you’ll love it!” for most impressions, I think.
