Easily my favorite game on the Genesis growing up, especially with a friend!

Agreed. As it stands, it’s just Persona 4's group meetings, but without voice work or playful messing with each other, which is everything, haha

That transmutation effect looks neat, but I miss the signature flash of light and hollow clapping sounds. Those are pretty up there with the iconic elements of the anime!

My issue with the Final Fantasy VII Compilation is that it’s way too obvious that a lot more effort was put into being stylish and cool instead of making the newer story elements mesh with the existing world in the original VII. Basically a master class in how not to do world building.

I’ve been opposed to the recent iteration of the game from the start due to missing characters, but they’ve taken it a step to far with removing parts from even the few characters they included!

How’s the character creator? I found the one in the first game to be kind of a letdown, especially trying to make characters with a robust power set. At least there was playable Stan Lee with the coolest powers
