“Is it a PC thing?”
“Is it a PC thing?”
Yes, exatcly! I’m fluent in fine print, haha
We’re not really making opposing arguments though! Haha, but if it makes you feel better, I think you’re right
Not actually a counterpoint since I said his intent and purpose was for it to look cool, rather than actually being cool, but yeah there’s no meaningful purpose for the design.
Of course the Knights of the Round don’t have a backstory. Yet.
Well, story-wise they’re very weird choices, but they’re mostly fighting games so it’s not as strange as say Marvel vs. Capcom. What would be REALLY weird is if it was something like BlazBlue X Trauma Center and it was a battle between Relius Clover and Derek Stiles, where one side is surgically altering people into…
It would be weird if there wasn’t any Guilty Gear in it, but it does seem to primarily take games using the same (I’m just guessing) engine and since Guilty Gear kind of missed the generation that Persona Arena and Blazblue occupied, they probably have to put in some extra work to make them fit right.
Not as weird as those up top, but I know which one I’m looking forward to next!
Yay, I’m stuck at work so this was just the distraction I needed!
I saw on the PS Blog that there was supposed to be a demo for this released yesterday, but kept checking with no success. Why do you hurt me so, PS!
Now that is some justice!
Man, I can’t wait for the highlight reel of amazing moments from this game! Was just watching this one again when I decided to check in to Kotaku, haha
Yeah, and the original interface was a mess too! This one is just on a completely different level. Such tiny numbers!
Xenogears! Seeing high def and shiny Gears would be amazing! Plus that stuff about the third act that you mentioned would be a long time coming too.
“Try acting like Naruto”
The EX bursts were the best! It really captured the feeling of a rush of power when your party had its backs to the wall in a Final Fantasy game.
Yeah, I feel like 1v1 is a must, but if they just tack that on to the current system, it will probably me much more shallow than even the previous ones, what with the reduced number of attacks available per character. It’s very obviously meant to be a team game, so I have low hopes for it
I think I’m going to wait (Yes, I look like a waiter) a bit on this one. I loved the original and put in over 500 hours on it, but the second one just disappointed me with the lack character interactions in fights and story. That’s what a crossover is supposed to be about!
