I suppose that counts. Although, it really is the equivalent of putting the physical disc into your PS3 and playing it. It’s not like the PC version of VII or VIII which are a different beast from their PS1 versions. Kinda like how the PS4 port for VII is different from playing it on PS3.

Dang, that is one impressively technical breakdown! I can live with the new portraits, but like the writer says, the multiple styles brought in by this remake make things pretty inconsistent and very noticeable.
