I’ve always been curious about these games, but every time I see them on the PSN, they’re next to like 10 different ones and I have no idea what would be a good starting point! Anyone have some advice on where to start on either PS3 or TVita?

It’s especially strong in Koei Tecmo games, I’ve noticed. A very small group of characters in the Warriors games get all the cool stuff. I don’t get that vibe from all the other fighting games I play, so I wonder if it’s the company that enables it, kinda like what Square Enix did with Lightning.

Yeah, at least there’s that. And the cross-series pairings present are pretty perfect already, I mean, there’s a ninja team and an android team already. I just see Leanne there as a solo unit and think, “wouldn’t it be awesome if she were shooting up the place with Lady or Trish from Devil May Cry?”

I would’ve preferred if there were more cross-series pairings in these games. I mean, that’s the best part of any crossover, seeing all the interactions that would never ordinarily happen!

Recently picked this up on Steam and it’s pretty good! I’m still in the slow burn phase that you mentioned, so I’m still waiting to be completely sucked in, but I have hope!

I never liked how only certain characters boosted your turn count, but at least there were enough spaces on the field to build a diverse team!
