As a libertarian, let people do what the hell they want with their single-player games. It doesn't affect your copy, it's not affecting a multiplayer game or being used to cheat leaderboards. I get the whole "license" deal when you buy video games and you don't own them, but whatever to that.

I beta'd this. I wish I could talk about it but alas, not until midnight.

I have no desire to play them. I have before and they just don't replace the rush of a great single-player game or the bonds felt playing with your friends in the same room.

The only multiplayer I like is with people I know, but they're all too cheap to be buying games and subscriptions. I've never played a game against randoms that I enjoyed. There's always some tryhard working to actively ruin everybody's fun.

Fuck that guy.

Now all we need is a mod to replace all 343 dialogue with Wheatley dialogue in the base game.

I'm not piss, nor was what I said ignorant.

Nope, you getting mad like a nerd over something you don't like makes you a nerd. Logic's p tight.

Yay more internet nerds

Maybe shut up.

I'm trying to play it as if it were Resident Evil 4 or 5, the kind of game I expected 6 to be. I don't particularly like Gears, so why would I try to hamfist its playstyle into a game from a series I actually used to enjoy?

Okay, you're like the fifth comment. I didn't mean to open up this can of worms for all you chat pad fans. Give it a rest.

That does look pretty rad, but could take some getting used to for sure.

My point is, why use it when you could do things so much more efficiently (and possibly simultaneously) on a PC with a mouse and keyboard?

I don't even use Xbox Live anymore you presumptuous bastard.

Chatpad also kind of sucks. Better than controller, sure, but still nowhere near ideal.

Also typing with a controller sucks.

We could begin to further this discussion by addressing this "90s nostalgia." While I did enjoy the 90s games, they weren't anywhere near my type of game. I became a real RE fan when I played RE4. You know, in the 2000s. So if there is any nostalgia there (there isn't), it's 00s nostalgia.

I'm pretty sure that, your leaving out some REs to prove a point notwithstanding, they count all ports as well.

You hit the nail on the head here. Perfect way to label this game.
