Glee doesn't rip off artists, they have to get proper authorization to use the songs. Some haven't even allowed Glee producers to use their work while many others did. Idina is way too busy w/ If/Then for that and has stated many times that she misses being more involved in her son's life, but work gets in the way. Once is filmed in Vancouver and she lives in NY. Martin McFly didn't auto disappear when he saved his dad from being hit by the car his future mom was driving and took his place in that story. They gave us which time travel reference they wanted to use and we accepted it. It may be time travel 101, but not BttF TT 101.

It doesn't depend on the movies because everything we'll see has happened already - this show is after the first Captain America (maybe even before the Agent Carter short or right after it) and way before everything else including AoS (that is clearly starts after The Avengers w/ Coulson's rebirth).
