God I’m hoping this works out and props to Riot for putting in the effort to do something like this in the first place
ISP support, right.
There’s a couple of doors that never open or look like they should lead to a new zone. The one past the Ball and Chain Giant is a big example, nothing past him but a chest and a door that curiously says “closed”
Have you watched the video for True Survivor, from the Kung Fury soundtrack? You should. It’s kind of amazing.
Beasthood is most likely the Bloodborne equivalent of the DS2 Lighting Engine. It was a great idea, but they were unable to get it working before the launch date of the original version. On that note it looks like the Lighting Engine was added to the DX11 version of SotFS, so maybe Beasthood will be patched in.
it probably has something to do with the pendant.
Yep this was one of the biggest disappointments to find out about the game. In Dark Souls 1/2 you could transform into a dragon, breath fire and do a roar that temporarily buffed attacks.
I'm a fan of this new rebellious marketing strategy.
Man, Konami is officially more locked down than any of the financial institutions I've worked for - and those places are tough.
"Heyyyy Kojima, how's it hangin'.
You get the music box from talking to a little girl in a window next to a gate that you unlock. You need to find the kids mother, who chased after the father when he took off and didn't come back. The music box is Father Cosoigne's. And playing it (only once per phase) temporarily makes him remember his humanity, and…
I got a bit frustrated at him too, but I have to admit that the fight was so magnificently well planned out that I enjoyed almost every second of it. The 3rd phase is pretty crazy, and I had to use the ''stay out of range and be patient'' method from the dark souls series. Great boss fight though, it forces you to use…
I was out of molotov's, and wanted to save my oil for later bossess. So it was my trusty saw, blunderbuss, music box. I only used the box on phase 2 and 3 of the fight. When he was still in phase 2, but close to phase 3, I would play it and then engage and knock him deep into his 1/3 before he lunge-raped me. then…
My winning attempt was a Music Box, Oil, Molotov combo. Just had to land 3 quick hits to finish him after that.
Dark Souls is a joke compaired to Bloodborne seriously I agree. I was kinda overwhelmed by the initial area and the no leveling up meaning you're always carrying around a ton of Souls (forget the new name) after you buy the new gear just adds ANOTHER layer of stress. Really great game though.
Also considering…
Silly newbs, what you do is offer to co-op for other players, which has 3 wonderful results:
1) You learn how to beat the boss without fear of losing all your souls and crying
2) You earn lots of souls by beating the boss so you can level up for when you take him on yourself.
3) You completely ruin the host player's…
I tried for 3 fucking hours to kill that bastard, even when using the music box. his 3rd form is just utterly bonkers. I dont know if I was just unlucky, but it seemd liked he would just do infinite lunges towards me and I had no recourse. I eventually did beat him with the both of us having mere slivers of life and I…
Uh what? Dark Souls 1 and Demon Souls are insanely easy in comparison to this game. Took me a full fucking day to get to the first boss and I've yet to down him. Yet I snored through Dark Souls 1 and licked my wounds through Demon Souls.
Yeah, Japan's a fascinating and misunderstood society in a lot of ways.
