I do it, too! I just make sure to secure the comb so that it won’t fall through the rack. It’s always been fine for me, even with a heated dry cycle, but YMMV.

I bury them in the backyard, right next to the ex-wife...

This is me and my family taking care of the hamster

You also MUST calculate in the time spent commuting into your hourly wage. If you make $50k but have to commute 45 minutes one way twice a day it reduces your hourly wage.

I think the firmness might be brand specific. Red Gold and Muir Glen chopped tomatoes never break down, but plenty of other brands do. Also, you seem to get more tomato in a can of chopped than a can of whole, although that varies by brand as well.

You are being ridiculous. All he did was point out that there are many reasons someone might want to use something like TurboTax. He even said he wasn’t familiar with the other options because he hasn’t used them. But he feels like TurboTax has been worth it for him. That’s it. He didn’t ignore that other options

Because the Fire HDX is a tablet, not an e-ink e-reader. They serve different purposes. I would know: I have both.

I’m not nearly forty. I’ve never used a typewriter (may have tapped on one a few times, that’s it), and I definitely know the difference between monospace and proportional width fonts. I’ve created a few fonts of my own back in high school for programming projects.

...wait, what sort of heathen doesn’t use 2 spaces?

Part of my job is reading/editing stuff from my other team members. I’m an old, meaning I learned to type on a typewriter that works just fine without electricity. So I’m a two-spacer. Mostly. Most of my younger colleagues are one-spacers. Mostly.

It helps me read, but you do you. Do what you want.  It obviously doesn’t matter. Anyone who tells you that way is wrong or you are bad for doing it is a jerk and it is best to learn that about them on something as inconsequential as spaces after period.  Interestingly I’ve found in typing this that the submission

Two spaces. Otherwise, logically, there should be more of a pause between words inside a sentence than there is between sentences. Commas, colons, semicolons: all of them are bigger than a period; therefore they have more of a ‘separating’ feel than a period - unless you add a space to the period. Then, sentences are

I’m with you so don’t take this as an attack but that 97% consensus thing is pretty bullshit. Do a quick Google search and you’ll find that that trendy percentage came out of thing air. We all gotta be better with our facts otherwise we’re no better than the bad guys. Yeah I slipped a Civil War reference in here.

Yeah but is there a way to mute updates? Tonight was not the first time I’ve been woken up at some ungodly hour being told my echo is updating and won’t be available for the next few minutes. Because that is totally a concern of mine when I’m asleep at 3 AM.

I lick my finger, reach down into the bottom of the bag so all the crumbs stick to it and then lick them off. Because I’m classy.

Who throws away crumbs? Am i the only one that gets the bag and pours the crumbs into my mouth?
