The first run from Permafrost to Gfay was so damn satisfying when I came back to the TLPs.

The thing about Everquest I really liked that seems counter-intuitive was that for example to group up with a friend you would have to literally run on foot 45 minutes across a continent and some of it was dangerous territory depending on your level.

I found this helpful and entertaining. I never would have found this on reddit and if I did, I would have had an issue distilling it into an easily consumable package. 

The highest and best use of an egg is fried in a round tin the same diameter as an English muffin, served with a sausage patty and a slice of The Alleged Cheese on said English, well-toasted, while watching basketball highlights.

The characters would be terribly 1-dimensional (worse that the Alba/Evans F4 movies), every 10 minutes would be another ham-fisted homage to previous filmmakers or blatantly referencing his previous works, the dialogue would be flat, and the origins would have taken place in the tie-in novel or prequel comics written…

Please no. He does not possess the capacity to create real emotional depth in characters; his logic regarding set and setting is awful; he constantly rips off other, better artists; therefore he needs to stay away from the MCU, and preferably all filmmaking for the rest of eternity.

JJ Abrams is an over-rated hack. His time travel crap ruined Star Trek and his Star Wars movies are just retreads of the originals with a bigger Death Star. I liked Cloverfield & Super 8, but most of his stuff is derivative crap.

I have 80-90 hours, still haven’t hit the new level cap (i’m mid 60s, unsure where exactly), have not beaten the main quest line yet, and still have 4-6 provinces/islands i never even visited.

I’ve opened up a little less than half the world map, have barely touched the main story missions at all, and I hit lvl 50 a week ago (though isn’t the new cap 70?).

I generally like big, open-ended maps in games like this, but Odyssey’s is absolutely too big with waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much to do. It’s not…

So, I’m done with the game and have done all the side quests, found all the things and am level 59.  Never bought any boosters.  I played a ridiculous number of hours (as a married woman with a full time job it’s frankly embarrassing how I’ve acquired triple digit hours on this game).  Still waiting on the DLC episode…
