I always to some extent felt that was part of the point to games like this. Become an OP gawwd. I get that people want a Dark Souls challenge to their games, but I don’t have time for that shit in an open world game that’s 45+ hours as it is.

Thanks for this! Ultima III was the first computer game I ever bought with my own money back in 1983 for my Atari 800XL. Took me 8 months to complete it, which was followed by subsequent Ultima games on the Atari ST. Man, those were amazing and first-class games...they came with cloth maps, several printed booklets,…
I get survival mechanics. I seriously do. They’re intriguing and can be fun.
The problem appears to be that this game sucks.
I remember these games being new. They were almost niche back then.
Alpha.
When I was young, I had no idea that Atari nearly destroyed video games or that ET or Atari Pac-Man were considered crappy. I played the hell out of both of them. I was too young to know they sucked.
So you should just avoid table salt.
SMS is a delightfully strange console. Totally overlooked in the US but with a ton of great quirky stuff that all the psuedo-8-bit indies are going for these days.
That’s actually a pet peeve of mine: people that leave the factory protective plastic on things. I have a buddy that still has some around the frame of his TV which is particularly egregious. You’re literally staring at this every day! Have you no honor? Just remove the plastic people, it’s gonna be OK.
I’m happy that they acknowledge there’s a problem and they’re trying to fix it. I bought the game at release and I’m enjoying it a lot, but I understand the criticisms. I hope they do more in the future, this should be a wakeup call.
That’s not the damn point. There are standards.
Its Better than abandoning it or never having released it in the first place. For the people who actually like their games and see the potential in this one.
Then don’t play it, and let the people that do have their fun.
There is literally no such thing as being ‘allergic’ to gluten and there is certainly no test for a gluten allergy (because such an allergy doesn’t exist), so either she’s lying to us or her doctor lied to her.
Except you basically trip over bobby pins everywhere, particularly if you complete quests or events.
It’s easy to see why this is—the developers obviously wanted to put a carrying limit on the item and 0.1 pounds is the smallest unit in the game—but still.
Fallout 76 probably. Despite the reverse hype it’s been fun for me. At the very least I’ve been dissecting the set pieces.
I don’t know, I have run into TONS of fun, interesting player drama in this game. My clan dropped a nuke and were raiding a nuke zone with 3 full groups of our people, and ANOTHER clan came in with 3 full groups and attacked us while we were trying to kill monsters and farm materials and stuff. They did this because…
I’ve had a ton of fun rolling through Appalachia with a small band of friends shooting and looting. I’ve sunk more time into 76 than I’ve sunk into most games for months since it launched. Yeah, it’s got flaws, and I certainly wouldn’t suggest everyone play it, but, if you get enjoyment out of going through…
