Actually, I think it's brilliant and wonder why we've never thought of doing this before. The touch pads should theoretically make FPSes much more responsive and precise.

That's exactly what I mean. ;)
Haha, you mean the Philippines? Yeah, I'm from there too. No need to keep it a secret, everyone already knows about it. ;)
Have you ever had a nightmare where a guy is about to shoot you, and you just can't quite seem to get your gun up in time, or aim it in the right place, before he gets off a shot? That's more or less how it feels to play GTA V in free-aim mode.
I'll concede that third-person action-adventure games with no gunplay and cross-hairs (e.g. Assassin's Creed, Batman) are more comfortable with a controller, but third-person shooters (e.g. Max Payne, Gears of War) are always better when played using a keyboard and mouse because they're mechanically similar to…
My bad. Sorry. :)
No it's not. She used the term virgin because it's her first time attending such a convention.
Thanks for bringing this up. Yes, we should expect significant performance gains with SteamOS. I remember running Quake 3 in Linux using a fricking 486. Interestingly, that game needs to run on a Pentium III in Windows.
Have a seat! Want some chips?
I AM OUTRAGED. Why does this kid have a copy of GTA V and it's not even 17 Sept yet?
LOL if I were drinking my morning coffee, I probably would've spit it out when I read your reference. BRILLIANT.
He thinks the nickname "disrespects" the teams that worked on the Xbox One? The same teams that came up with anti-consumer features like:
"My beef with steam is not the service they provide but the useless DRM they attach to games and the way they try to get on your computer regardless of your will like some kind of adware."
Hmm. The term fall back gives me the impression that she's only doing it for the money, which I seriously doubt.
So you don't? Then would you mind giving me all of yours? Because I love money as much as she or any average bloke does. Maybe even more! ;)
LOL how many notifications did you get? You know how touchy people can get. ;)
Early Windows 8 adopter and long-time Windows user here. While I'm not too crazy about the Metro UI (I think the tablet-inspired design is atrocious for a PC interface), I never really had any difficulty making sense of it.
Not that I hate the Tarrful costume—I love it. I think damn thing looks terrific. But it's not better than the Malgus costume.
My biggest beef with the Shield is that it requires at least an Nvidia GeForce GTX 600 for the PC streaming to work. The issue isn't about having to buy an expensive video card—the issue is that I have to get a GeForce card, which I think isn't as good as Radeon cards.
In contrast to that, I think a narrative is integral to role-playing games. It doesn't need to be strongly defined, but there has to be a basic storyline at the very least, because RPGs are a form of interactive storytelling.
