Cadillac has gone to insane efforts to show they havent shared a single interior component in this with any other car.

make a lucid with cloth seats on 18s stripped of all its self driving nonsense because i will not be using them and thatll probably knock it down to 50k. there are a lot of other people who dont want the self driving bits especially if they knew how much those sensors added to the cost. but the air is such a damn good…
Huh? Cars can move with deflated tires. A shot tire doesn’t deflate instantly. Bullets can ricochet. People don’t have perfect aim. The situation wasn’t an immediate case of life or death.
Yeah, that huge battery (118 kWh) is about half the size of the Hummer EV / Chevy Silverado EV battery and contains the same amount of energy as 3.5 gallons of gasoline and just knocked out 523 miles on a charge at highway speeds. Your point?
“Ever hear of Denver, CO?”
Of course you never want to reduce their effectiveness. I was just commenting on how due to how infrequently used they are (in an EV), unless you’re doing some seriously spirited driving, I can’t imagine they are really that much above ambient temperature to begin with
Definitely a dumb idea, but at least this particular item is on an EV, which barely uses the friction brakes thanks to the regenerative braking system. Unless you’re track driving it probably wouldn’t be noticeably worse. Unless debris gets caught of course, unsure how close the clearances are.
You can only be different and quirky for so long. And if you aren’t putting in the hard work behind the scenes, your products will eventually fall out of favor. And if you make everything about you, and you happen to be repellent, that’s not going to help either.
It looks good. Just not in that matte black. Matte black was played out 10 years ago.
Blinding blue LED headlights and gunshot fart can mufflers 4evah!
Eh, SEMA has been a pile of shit for a while and sucked the entire time. This unfortunately doesn’t come as a surprise.
More in the categories of laziness and stupidity rather than ignorance.

Financial Disclosure reports for judges have explicit sections for funds and for individual equities. This is not as a result of his investment in diversified funds. He purchased individual shares of Tesla in November 2022 and December 2022. Assuming he’s still holding the shares, he’s up by about 60% on the December…
If his money was in an index fund, then his disclosure would say “15,000 - 50,000 in a Vanguard index fund” as opposed to specifying the company within that fund. If some middling government employee accepted a fruit basket from Elon they risk getting fired. This is a conflict of interest that the judge gets to…
Car Dealerships around military bases are the worst. Kids with signing bonus are walking targets for these scumbags. The number of BH/PH lots around Ft. Meade filled with E-class, 5 Series and way too many Range Rovers waiting for their 3rd owner tells me they aren’t beating into the recruits about actually listening…
Make it illegal for dealerships to do much of the sh*t they do.
But there is a difference between owning companies in an index fund versus owning an equity outright. I somehow stumbled into Nvidia 3 years ago, and the growth in that single stock dwarfs the growth in any index since then. If I were a judge in a position to boost/kill a single stock based on a position I held,…
You can still delete your comments, nobody has to know you’re this stupid...
Yeah! What does a guy who worked in an...auto parts plant know about the automotive industry?! Who does this guy think he is, just waltzing into the UAW...29 years ago?! Surely he only received his position by being appointed by the...direction election of the union members....
