Huh? Cars can move with deflated tires. A shot tire doesn’t deflate instantly. Bullets can ricochet. People don’t have perfect aim. The situation wasn’t an immediate case of life or death.

Definitely a dumb idea, but at least this particular item is on an EV, which barely uses the friction brakes thanks to the regenerative braking system. Unless you’re track driving it probably wouldn’t be noticeably worse. Unless debris gets caught of course, unsure how close the clearances are.

You can only be different and quirky for so long. And if you aren’t putting in the hard work behind the scenes, your products will eventually fall out of favor. And if you make everything about you, and you happen to be repellent, that’s not going to help either.
