You misread his point, he was saying if you are below .08 it can still be a DUI and the other factors start to weigh in.

This article is such flame-bait BS. At least tell the other side of the story, which is that other trucking companies have been using this technology for years (from SmartDrive, Lytx, Netradyne, Samsara, and others), there are 100Ks of these already deployed in other fleets, and on average they contribute to a 15-20%…
Very useful advice, thanks. I’ve got an old AGM H8 core that is nearly as big, going to see if desulfating it brings it back at all.
Huh, that explains it. I wonder what types of plastic matter - this has to explain why my corvette windshield (and hatchback window) is so bad, compared to any other car I’ve ever owned.
Can you also do those maniacs in Nissan Altimas of the same vintage?
Yes, this. and the fact that other hedge funds and high frequency traders are making a boatload on the vol, just making a market in the trading here.
“IPC turrets”. Dang that’s specific, not many people would know who makes those things.
Yes. And this nonsense is spreading to the home now too. Why can’t designers understand this?
100% agree, why not have a valet mode that restricts the throttle? It’s electronic, can’t be that hard. Other cars have limp modes.
I second this, I took a video on my C8 as I drove thru the threshold. Technically it occurred as you clicked over from 500.9 to 501.0 and not at 499.9 going to 500.0, so it was a longer video than I was expecting to record...
But but but, we put it in the tall thin can and everyone knows that those tall thin cans cost $1.89-2.59. See Red Bull.

Yes, the first picture was scream C6 at me as well and I was thinking “hey that Pontiac jab isn’t fair”... and then I saw the front view (sigh)
So true. I was being careful to specify “pickups” and not all trucks, because the SUVs do get stupid.
My subaru wrx sti exactly the same. I actually downsized the rims to 18" for the winter tires to get back some sidewall for the winter pothole driving. I quite like it.
Hmmm...
Tire & Wheel tends to be very cheap for pickups, because no OEM sells a pickup with low-profile tires. Going to bet your VW had tires that were XXX/45 or thinner. That bumps the price up quite a bit.
FWIW , BMWs are notoriously bad / known for having wheel & tire issues.
Is it though (a fundamental difference)?
(I sure do find myself agreeing with you a lot.)
