In this case, yes, the Turo insurance should cover this, IMHO (but I would not be surprised if they worm their way out of it). The insured is the owner of the truck, they are in the business of renting them, and it’s not like you can vet who is going to decide to be a vigilante with your truck. So Turo should pay out

Not to mention that half of the cars at sideshows are stolen anyway.

Does it bother other people when the media uses a word as a blanket statement that has no bearing on the actual meaning? These people aren’t street racers, they aint even racing anybody. Half those cars are stolen or rented so you’re not even hurting the people that participate in this. Oh no, you came and crushed my

That’s a pretty narrow definition of “mark-up.” Let’s call it “additional profit” instead, like they do at the dealerships after everyone got sick of $595 for “undercoating.”

Because racing heritage is also another Ferrari selling point, and this is coming with an engine derived from the one in the Le Mans-winning 499p Hypercar. I betcha there’s be less controversy about this had they styled it closer to that car than going with their current “mustache” trend.

I mean, if you’ve ever dealt with bed bugs, it’s a little different than bees. A few bed bugs can quickly cause an infestation that is very difficult to get rid of. Not saying a passenger couldn’t have brought it on board, but it’s definitely something an airline should want to clamp down on quick and isn’t “just some

Florida. Come on, you know it is Florida.

Rewards programs act as a type of “bank” and the angle they are addressing is that if you are going “sell” it as a banking system to customers need to have some level of consistency (like a truth in lending aspect).

That is a good way to look at it. I think a lot of people remember prices like that from 20 years ago and have a hard time realizing it was 20 years ago plus inflation. If Corvettes were “affordable for the every man”, they would have been everywhere instead of Mustangs and Camaros. They were still on the expensive

Porsche 911 Turbo : 3,635 - 3,790 lbs

As long as they keep a base model attainable I feel like they can grow the top end as much as they want.  If anything the Z06 and ZR1 help keep Corvette as a whole more affordable.

That’s a lot more power than I was expecting honestly. And impressive they preserved the high redline with the turbocharging. I wouldn’t be surprised to see these priced at an MSRP over $200k, but I guess that still makes them a relative bargain compared to the competitors.

Funny. “Holy shit” was the first thing I said when I read it too.

After more than a decade holding out on this website I’m about ready to leave. This is literally the worst developed website I visit daily and it’s becoming way too much. The experience feels as though it’s made to suck on purpose.

It’s most likely an issue with your adblocker automatically removing Amazon links (in this case, links to May’s two shows).

Also it wouldn’t have happened if Uber didn’t approve an account with a made up social security number and a driver’s license photo that doesn’t match the submitted driver photo.

States’ll go to any lengths to avoid the only real tax that works. Income tax.

It’s called humor.

Now THAT is nice!

Suspect that in most cities and towns if the police consistently enforced the letter of the law for traffic offenses most folks would be astounded and pissed.
