You nailed my unsaid point: if anything, I suspect more schmucks are driving around with their mirrors adjusted in a way that makes backing easier, but are useless for blind spot elimination in normal transit.

Assuming you know how to use your side mirrors.
...Buddy...I have news for you. Its the same [assuming you’re driving at a speed no wheels break traction as in during parking].
It leaves the Taycan Turbo, on paper, as one of the most expensive, lowest-range electric vehicles on the market with performance that’s still slightly behind Tesla’s top performer.
Did they fix the second row? The only way these monsters are relevant to me is in my role as an Uber Black rider. The Suburban is a complete pain in the a** to exit. From the second row there is about an 8" gap to slide my size 13 feet out of the vehicle. For a vehicle that big, I shouldn’t have to do gymnastics to…
My guess is no. Once cruising, added weight doesn’t have much effect on efficiency.
Interesting. What do you like better about it? I think the front view of the Aston is much more elegant. I’m not a huge fan of the ‘flying fender’ or whatever they call that gash of a vent from the front wheel to the door on the side of the Aston. The rear view is nearly identical for me, the lights are very different…
Or a simpler answer - maybe the wife just reported a lower income than the husband listed when they both applied. Once you are approved, the credit limit is in large determined by your income relative to debt, not your credit score. Willing to bet if they both had listed the same income, they would have gotten the…
It would be great if people learned how credit scores work before spouting off about sexism. You can have an 800 credit score with $10K of credit line and $40K of income. Or an 800 credit score with $300K of credit lines and $1M+ of income. You aren’t going to get the same credit limit...
I think the long time is determined by their power, not some other concern about too rapidly warming the tires.
You know the whole thing about getting on an expressway? There’s an easy answer to that... just do it.
Nice. The Fusion is a much better car than it ever got credit for and it’s a shame to see it go. I’ve recommended the Fusion and the Sonata to many people based on my rental car experiences. (Similarly, I’ll avoid even thinking about driving a car with a CVT, based on my rental experiences)
Clever.
A corollary on test drives - it can be quite worth it to just rent the vehicle for a day before you buy. Test drives are necessarily limited and I’ve never seen one where they let you take it on an expressway and get it up to 80MPH. Yet that’s how I’m going to spend 1/2 my time driving it.
Nobody else sees numbers that high, including owners, after engaging Ludicrous mode. Tesla has a legitimate point here.
Bingo. Different motors, and using one no longer available, kinda invalidates the results.
So does this make the Tesla the Corvette of the electric cars? e.g., 1/2 the price of the equivalent Porsche and a build quality that isn’t terrible, but still not the same?
