I think the long time is determined by their power, not some other concern about too rapidly warming the tires.

All I see is Ford continuing to troll Aston Martin - copy their design (especially that front grille), but do it slightly uglier

You know the whole thing about getting on an expressway? There’s an easy answer to that... just do it.

Nice. The Fusion is a much better car than it ever got credit for and it’s a shame to see it go. I’ve recommended the Fusion and the Sonata to many people based on my rental car experiences. (Similarly, I’ll avoid even thinking about driving a car with a CVT, based on my rental experiences)

Clever.

A corollary on test drives - it can be quite worth it to just rent the vehicle for a day before you buy. Test drives are necessarily limited and I’ve never seen one where they let you take it on an expressway and get it up to 80MPH. Yet that’s how I’m going to spend 1/2 my time driving it.

Nobody else sees numbers that high, including owners, after engaging Ludicrous mode. Tesla has a legitimate point here.

Bingo. Different motors, and using one no longer available, kinda invalidates the results.

So does this make the Tesla the Corvette of the electric cars?  e.g., 1/2 the price of the equivalent Porsche and a build quality that isn’t terrible, but still not the same?

Oh snap!

Ha ha, we’ve had two in a row, but different authors.

I think that’s a fair take.

Yes, that would be the very interesting Jalop article to read. Not this stupid “they contradicted themselves , ha ha” crap.

Agreed. Seriously, I’m really hoping we aren’t on a trend of Jalop articles making fun of authorities when they get very specific on making rulings. Fine, keep the stupid click-bait titles, but this is just as bad as Andrew’s article saying that circuit court in Michigan was saying that forgetting to put the bolts

I feel like it’s deceptive to claim that your vehicle is repaired and now safe to drive when it clearly isn’t safe, as evident by the injuries sustained due to the vehicle not actually being repaired.

my chop (supply officer on the sub) announced “the water is cold today” every damn time he went to the bathroom for a pee.

@Dr. Kamiya - thanks for fighting the good fight on this and sticking with logic. Sorry you have to put up with a bunch of knee jerk reactions from folks that haven’t read the underlying documents and are just reacting to Aaron’s incorrect (albeit entertaining) framing.

I think this is very logical, but completely illogical to common sense.

This.
