I'm pretty sure these emails are legitimate. Kotaku has nothing to gain from publishing this story if they're fake; it'd destroy their credibility if it was fake.

S'all good. Like I said, it's the intrigue and drama that has me coming back anyways. It's not something that particularly hurts; just means I'm back to square one. Featured commentators get an easy free bump for discussions; doesn't mean good discussions aren't had elsewhere.

I will admit that gaming journalism is incredibly difficult; it's part of the reason I didn't pursue it out of high school, much as I wanted to. Deeply political and not nearly as romantic as it seems.
