The suspension on even the non-V ATS’s is impressive. The car really does drive well. The backseat is snug but not unusable for carrying adults around town (probably not for long journey). The car is generally visually attractive both interior and exterior. At a price below its competitors I think it is a great car

I was just about to post this as well. My VW has the same style.

Moral of the story. The US really needs to step up its rocket launch background music.

I was trying to leave my performance bias out of it. I would certainly buy both of those options over the escalade, but if we are talking performance of intended function. I think the escalade destroys its competition.

The cost of these large SUVs is crazy (the chevy and gmc variants are a terrible amount cheaper).

I will just say it. I have no problem with the new Ridgeline’s capabilities I just think it is ugly. Now that’s just my worthless opinion.

So they made a Jaguar. Great.

As an employee of the big 3 this dude nails it. The whole practice is ridiculous and proves nothing.

There is not currently a plant in the world that is producing 500,000 units a year (even major 3 shift operations usually only produce in the 250k-300k per year range) . Meaning that for Tesla to hit that production goal they would have to be in the process of buying/constructing a new assembly plant today. 4 years is

I assumed that this was the case but I appreciate the confirmation. I am a relatively young and inexperienced car buyer. The miata does fall within my price range, but I hate to overpay for anything.

David, question about price. Given the general demand for these things did you feel negotiation was off the table whenever you bought yours? How tough was the dealer on selling?

Fun fact: WD40 can actually be used to get oil stains out of clothing (and rather effectively I might add).

Be careful with this statement. It is assembled in Lordstown,OH . Most of the plastic parts are Korean. Engines are largely built in Hungary among other places. Not to mention that much of the design work was done by GMIO (GM International Operations). GM is a global company, trying to assign a nationality to it is a

I feel like I just had a stroke

Oh boy another story about how Steve Williams is upset he got fired and wants to capitalize on his success with Tiger by writing a scathing book.

I am 5’11” 155 and have been much skinnier than that throughout my life. No ill will towards skinny dudes. Just figured other training requirements would have already put pilots above that weight threshold.

Very fair point.

No shots meant towards skinny dudes. I am 5’11” and 155 lbs in what could be described as decent shape (aka I go to the gym). I have always thought of myself as slimmer/skinny and therefore not an ideal fighter pilot. I understand that for shorter men 136lbs. becomes more reasonable. I assumed there would already be

Comment wasn’t directed to slight women’s abilities to be fighter pilots. Just figured that there would already be physical standards out there that put fighter pilots (male or female) at a height and weight above 136lbs.

Hate to be the one defending the F-35 and by no means an expert on any of this, but I am shocked that you could be physically fit enough to be a fighter pilot and still weigh under 136lbs. That is one slim pilot.
