I don’t understand these people yelling that this thing is too expensive. This is priced very reasonably in my opinion. If you are complaining that $53k is too much money, you aren’t going spec racing.

Jordan Taylor is awesome. I love him. All the homo.

Don’t forget to crack the windows...

These sort of stories never seem to end well. Condolences in advance.

Couldn’t agree more. You really see it in the pace that their employees work at as well. High production facilities the workers are significantly more active going from car to car (at least in the plant I am involved with).

As an industrial engineer at a major US auto manufacturer I found this video really interesting. There were a couple of things that immediately struck me as abnormal in their assembly process when comparing them to a high production rate auto assembly plant. Most of which are not surprising given the nature of their

Realized that a couple pictures down. In my defense they do look a lot like stickers. I almost wish they were stickers.

He does know that Samsung isn’t a Russian company right?

With a face only a mother could love... eek

Wonder if they could tie this in with Samsung's curved touch screen tech. I know apple and samsung aren't friends, but hypothetically couldn't you do a giant curvaceous touch screen dash that has these sort of double detent button things.

God no, no, no, not Ikea!!!!!

Thats not just tripping over your own feet. The man's knees stopped working halfway back to the truck.

Agreed, there are robots that do much of the work in the body shop. I only meant to say that that work represents are far smaller amount of the overall time and effort that goes into building your car than someone might expect. It is maybe a 20-30% of the overall work that goes into assembling a car.

This is an incredibly correct post. As someone with auto experience this is how cars are made even on an assembly line. Just instead of 1 person doing the task many people do it as the car moves past them.
