I recall reading that the 109 pilots could dive to escape a pursuing Spitfire, and the Spitfire pilots would have to do a half barrel roll and then dive while inverted, lest the negative Gs would cause the fuel to cut out. Perhaps that is in the Rolls motors rather than the Packards?

I have to believe that there's one or two other weirdos out there who look at this and say "Awesome!"

As racing goes, this makes me love 24 Hours of Lemons even more.

it sure looked like somebody was lapping the 'Ring in a Ford LTD, or perhaps a Thunderbird.

well there you are then.

I think if you're flying antique fighter planes as a hobby, you're probably doing all right financially, even if you're not Elon Musk.

At 1:38 or so? That looks like the starboard navigation light reflecting off the boom to me.

Amaaaazing Braaakes, How sweet thy sound, That saved a wretch like meeeeee...

Scenario: Mother in law in car, I've had chili for lunch and am trying to suppress resulting fart. Unintentional butt wedge panic braking ensues, sending mother in law through windshield. Oh, why didn't you buckle up, Esther?!?!

the interior looks supple and very special. The exterior looks like somebody grafted the passenger area of a 2005 Accord into the middle of a Vantage.
