I think you assumed a lot about my intent, my friend. I was explaining *why* people would be disappointed. Twitch is a corporation, made up of people. I wasn’t bemoaning “I can’t believe Twitch did this”, I was saying that the people who make decisions at Twitch acted in a way that, while understandable for the

People prefer it when humans act with emotion and respect, rather than with cold and calculating machinations.

Well, the launch popularity will die down, the queues are already become smaller and the window to catch them is shrinking. The question is how much of that will bounce back up when the new content releases on Tuesday with 6.01.

This is the dumbest thing I’ve read on this site in quite some time.

How many real life guys named Bowser are there going to be in the orbit of Nintendo?

Why do we treat Athletes like Athletes? I mean, you’re entitled to your opinion but it feels very reductive.

I really enjoyed this game’s story. For all the jokes about it being knock-off brand Avengers, it really did a good job of making the characters its own and coming up with a novel take on the universe.

I’ve got some good and/or bad news for you about the plot of Kingdom Come.

I suppose you’re not obligated to form opinions on anyone else’s success if you don’t feel like it, but I guess the basic assumption is that if you’re going to form opinions or criticize someone about how they do their job, my assertion is that regardless of your opinion of them or their job you have to respect the

Is she utilizing her looks to help her succeed? Absolutely. She had the luck to be born with above average looks, she uses effort to gain and maintain and fit body, and those looks are part of what gives her the opportunity to succeed.

I think this is a bit overly reductive. There are plenty of hot girls who try to stream on twitch and use their hotness to launch their platforms. The numbers say they fail. Something like 90% or more of the top streamers were men.

Does this metric adjust for how much they stream? I don’t really watch streamers regularly, but I will flip over to twitch every now and then to watch a few minutes of a few in particular, and it seems like Pokimane streams less often then Amouranth, at least from what I notice when I’m browsing through streamers.

No, I read the article, which clearly states that the gentleman is alive and in custody. I suspect that the commenter above was using the term ‘parentless’ as a way of indicating that her father was dead to her for both moral and logistic reasons.

Yeah, I feel like this is a poor judgement.  The article explains who he is, there’s no reason to link to the video and give him more traffic in light of what he’s done.

I’m flabberghasted that they’re including the ‘rotate the minstick’ games.  Joycons are notoriously apt to having the stick break, and this feels like an express ticket to having that happen.  That’s absolutely crazy.

Bodacious bummer, dude.

Okay, but if you throw out a comparison to Witcher 3 you need to tell me if anyone is having gratutious sex on top of Unicorn or not.

This is like the old obscenity tests. It’s impossible to define, and people are arguing about where an imaginary line in the sand is.

It’s weird how people come into the comments, thus driving up engagement, about articles they don’t like, rather than just... scrolling past them.

I’m not saying what she did was smart, but it was an attempt to play off an old twitch meme. More tone deaf racism-lite than vitriolic racism.
