Oh shit, you’re telling me a video game website doesn’t report random murders, deaths, and accidents, and only mentions them when they’re notably tied to video games?
This has blown my mind.
Well, as of my writing this he has 22 stars and 21 replies, so I’m not sure that qualifies as ‘ratio’d.
I will concede your overall point though, it’s a bit of a mischaracterization to try to extend that statement to the whole of the readership. It’d be more accurate to say there are far too many commenters with…
“Sorry Hong Kong, we can’t be bothered to even pretend to care about your plight, it might hurt people’s vacations.”
Man, the tunnel vision on this site is ridiculous.
Have you checked out the Save the World subreddit? I quit over a year ago but I was curious if the Black hole and two day outage meant any improvement for my old STW compatriots.
Nothing.
I’d be mad, but like I said I quit too long ago to care. Now I just pity the poor fools who still hope.
“Now remember, when the enemy comes for us don’t fire back.. Those soldiers are just trying to feed their family, we don’t want to hurt any of them.”
The ‘logical’ thing isn’t always the ‘right’ thing. In this case, they most definitely did not do the right thing. They maybe did the easy thing. Or the thing that will preserve their profits. But they were no where *near* ‘right’ thing.
I’m not asking them to ‘apply pressure’ to the Chinese government. Do you think I believe that Blizzard is going to deploy forces to Hong Kong to help liberate them? All I want from American companies is to not be explicitly complicit. That’s *literally* all I want. And that’s where Blizzard failed in this instance.
Co…
I love this headline.
Ah, there’s nothing we can do so we should just let it happen argument. That’s my favorite argument. Why outlaw murder? People will get murdered anyway. Why get out of bed tomorrow, we’re all going to end up in the cold hard ground.
This is one of the worst takes I’ve ever seen on this site.
“Don’t protest when it would be effective, because it might hurt people’s feelings.”
Moving this away from being a Carbon Copy of MCU Avengers (sans Hawkeye) is a good move, and it was foolish of them to keep this so close to the chest for so long. Definitely increases my interest, but I am still.. let’s say Concerned that this will turn out to be another Anthem.
Games as a Service or whatever they’re…
I dunno... I think it would work, especially if the Goose chased after the person who summoned it, too.
I feel like the Goose should be worse. If the Goose Assist gets you in his sight, the character must uncontrollably flee in terror until the Goose loses interest in the chase or the character runs off the stage.
I think you’ve missed the obvious solution to this, Luke.
The Goose should be an absolute monster of an assist trophy. Let him even be an asshole to the person who summoned him.
While I understand RPers wanting to have their fun, and don’t begrudge them it at all, I think this is a hard thing to give a ‘canon’ answer to, as it kind of goes to the crux of the plot right now. The Scions are stranded on the First because there is no easy way to traverse the shards.
I think it’s pretty obvious…
I didn’t realize Demon’s Crest was a spin-off of G&G when I saw the title list for Nintendo Online. I played the Gameboy version of this (Gargoyle’s Quest) and LOVED it when I was a kid... I’ll have to check this out.
(I’m old, but never had a SNES. Never played more than a few minutes of any of these games.)
In this case in particular, I can’t see anyone with a soul complaining about the delay.
haha, what. You can disagree with their take on things, but to accuse them of taking money from Epic for good coverage is absolutely ludicrous. These are the guys that are blacklisted by Bethesda for unfavorable coverage, and have done numerous deep dives into serious issues in the industry.
But yeah, because they…
You having this in the present tense legit made me double check the dates on this article and comment. I thought I was being Kinja’d and seeing an ages old article again.
(G4 stopped all programming, which like you alluded to was basically re-runs of Cops at that point, at the end of 2014)
