Or both. I read the group's website, and one of their demands is life sentences for perps.

I think the sad thing is acid attacks are way too frequent for it to be only sociopaths. These are regular people committing a crime their society tolerates, in the same way that there are far too many rapists and child abusers for them all to be sociopaths.

I really liked the group's tag line, "Society prepares the crime, the criminal commits it." Probably here, instead of an acid attack, these young women would've been beaten by their parents/ step-parents/ partners because that's the crime our society tolerates. Or maybe assaulted and posted on vine.

And in a side note, raising the status of women would also prevent a woman who didn't want to abort her female fetus from being pressured by her family. Happily, I know parents who emigrated to Canada from less female-friendly places specifically so their daughters would have greater opportunities. So yay!

We're getting upset about that, but not the portrayal of horrific child neglect? Or the woman sobbing and being comforted by the "strong" man with a gun? (But mostly poor Michael kept in a box for years.) The whole PSA is ridiculous, which is the point.

but what you are being told is that the food bank near her majesty doesn't accommodate families. Your comment reminds me of those left on stories about Tamesha means. She says the catholic hospital turned her away 3 times until she went into labour, & that she developed infections, during her miscarriage, and the

1. The kid was caught by the legs, not the neck. 2. Playground equipment is supposed to be safe. She didn't send her kids to play in an abandoned factory, they were in a park using equipment intended for children. Another way this story could've ended was with threatening a lawsuit against either the swing-maker or

Hey, Rick Perry was just indicted by a grand jury! I know it has nothing to with story, but I figure that'll cheer you all up at least as much as a puppy gif.

the payback is when your elderly parents' driving is terrifying you as much your teenage driving terrified them. I'm living it :P

We share the same brain. My first thought was "why couldn't this POS have hung himself instead?"

I didn't know that, but maybe this explains why I can't watch him. I think he's a great actor, but he creeps me the fuck out, and looking at him hurts my eyes. It's always been like this.

No.

Oh ok. But no one tax that statue!!! :)

Are you kidding?!! That's the most awesome thing I've ever seen!!! There aren't enough exclamation points in the world to describe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking on behalf of my great, great uncle who spent time in fox holes and reported on the intensity of shelling & the weather as part of his war log- "Sunny, some scattered bombing by the hun, spent day walking to front"- I think he'd appreciate the keep calm/ stiff upper-lipness of this kind of joke. Although he

Individual congregations may be cash strapped, but the institutional church has a huge influence on public policy that affects everyone, from tolerance of homophobia in its schools, to its affiliated hospitals handling of people seeking treatment after being raped or during pregnancy/ miscarriage, to supporting TRAP

Maybe they could take up removing planks from their own eyes.

In my neighbourhood, the same block has a catholic church, a little evangelical "Biblical Evangel Church of Christ", a buddhist temple and an occult shop. Love it.

She was mocking liberals? If you can understand what she said, it's probably time to put that Obamacare to good use and see neurologist.

And also because liberals prefer kale infused lattes, they must hate fast food workers because common sense tells them the healthiness of the menu is completely under the control of the people who work there.
