Yeah, I don’t get these apps, and I’m bewildered that they keep popping up.
While I’m sure Jim may not be entirely spotless, maybe these developers should try suing themselves for being such dishonest and incompetent sacks of shit, creating such underwhelming games, and engaging in such dishonest practices. Their own actions are arguably what opened them up to the product damage and…
I dunno, was that really all that necessary? Especially in VLR where it had the tree, anyway. I’m wondering how the randomness in this one will fit in to all of that.
As a dumbphone-for-emergencies-only user, I’d be interested in this if it were on a reliable network, or if the costs represented an actual and significant savings over existing smartphone plans, or both.
Not sure if this is the same $100 Logitech set I tried a year or two ago, but...the sound they produced wasn’t even worth $50.

Yeah, I took one look at this headline and was like “the correct answer is ‘however much doesn’t leave you out on your ass’, right?” ‘Cause yeah, there’s no way that most people in many lines of work make enough to live anywhere decent in or near any major city and have a healthy buffer to spare.
I wish for whoever continues to insist on UPlay being a requirement for every Ubisoft PC game to be fired...
To take this pullquoting principle further, The Division requires Uplay, and Uplay just plain “Blows”.
I thought advertising was immune to standards, period.
You could also consider for a moment that some people like games but simply choose not to own smartphones, whether to avoid the distraction or the constant monthly $50+ drain on their wallets when a dumbphone is sufficient when complemented by all of the free desktop/web communication apps in the world.
The headline had me thinking “meh, it’s pre-launch, shit happens”, but when said shit has the most significant adverse effect on people who paid for bonuses that they now essentially lose, yeah that’s pretty shitstorm-worthy. Would certainly discourage me from ever giving the company money.
Sure sounds like they want to hide something. :)
I’ll be sure to grab this for PC...
Still, nothing a few settings tweaks, opting out of Steam betas and possibly buying a game pad can’t fix.
Seeing how this unfolds may be the most entertainment I’ve gotten from Ubisoft in years, given that I am unable to glean any entertainment value from their games (because, as a PC gamer and Steam user, and seeing the reports of how much of a shithole Uplay still is, I refuse to buy anything that requires it).
This isn’t helping Win10's image...
Yeah, I sure thought this ended up sounding a lot like that “while you were away” thing, which I similarly always told to go away.
Thousands of hopeful Narutos are refreshing the hell out of the reserve page as I type.
I seem to remember seeing horror stories about their work culture in general as recently as last year. Still wouldn’t want to work there, and I have to wonder what the heck they’re thinking going through such roundabout lengths with this to essentially drum up more AWS revenue.
