TFW Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment isn’t listed. Hoping I have time to get through that on PC before Yooka-Laylee is released.

Didn’t it turn out that this run actually only tied Darbian’s record due to a lag frame in 8-2 or something?
I feel like Discord is generally just a shoddily-implemented Slack clone, continuing to catch up to it in features. It’s OK for small-scale stuff, but e.g. they’re still working on implementing search, which is something Slack has had for as long as I’ve used it. Meanwhile, once I was invited to a huge server on…
Yeah, I really wish Blizzard would avoid placing you in matches that were just subjected to a last-minute douchebag rage-quit that you’ll join basically just in time to see the defeat screen. It seems like this shouldn’t be terribly hard to avert...
I was hoping to see the most useful tool of all, the “Stop Playing And Actually Pay Some Goddamn Attention To Your Surroundings” tool.
I’m conflicted because yes they do look cool, but... WTF guys, she’s Egyptian. I’d think they could make something that’s much more true to her actual background and still look rad. :/
Pretty sure I’m not going to touch the failfest that is competitive play with a 10 foot pole until they do something about the shitlord ragequitters. From what I’ve heard from friends, they’ve seen one or more (once even 4) players drop from their team in nearly EVERY GAME.
Ummm yeah this nerf needs to come to PC too, yes mouse aim makes you faster but Torb turrets are basically freaking god-aim snipers.
I’ll be playing Assault Android Cactus (excellent twin-stick shooter, if you haven’t heard of it, look it up and play the demo) tomorrow because there’s a speedrun tournament tomorrow at 1PM ET on speedgaming’s twitch stream! I’m not expecting to do terribly well; there are definitely several tiers of players involved…
Yup, this. I know custom games allow limiting to 1 or 2 of the same character. I want them to do that by default in quick play.
Trihex encountered the same thing. They throw in 4 hours of credits, and don’t even get them right...
So... Is Phil Spencer completely missing the point, or was it due to how the question was posed to him?
Yeah, I’d be concerned about the same thing. This strikes me as an opposite-extreme reaction to dependency hell... and though I’m admittedly only a light Linux user, I can’t recall having to deal with dependency hell in over a decade (and the last time I did, you could blame RPM for it).
Personally, this was my favorite Overwatch clip of the week: https://oddshot.tv/shot/Fairlight…
Ugh, yeah. I had a control point match earlier where I was completely fine for 2 rounds, then spent 50% of the third round at 500 ping. I dunno whether it spikes particularly when I’m in proximity to other players on shitty connections or what.
Two words: spider time!
Ditto. The main redeeming feature of the game was that it didn’t require Uplay, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought/played it at all.
I’m not ready to put stock in this immediately after what they let happen to Doom’s completely-overlookable craptastic console-peasant-pacifying multiplayer. id, you gotta earn my trust back first.
I’d sooner expect that they could get their jobs done better with less staff that is more qualified with less bureaucracy in the way to just let them get their damn jobs done. But then I’m thinking more behind-the-scenes, not front-lines at airports, I suppose.
Anubis is quickly becoming my least-favorite level. So many times now I’ve seen the same Bastion + Reinhardt (and sometimes also Torbjorn and/or Symmetra) setup in front of the first point and the first entryway is kind of a huge choke point for that.
