This is still better. Why did they waste their time trying to salvage a redundant model? Just put the damn thing out of its misery.

@Autojunkie: Correct. They have a super low ratio (19:1) that they can pull off with the CVT (BELTS!) without the use of any sort of transfer case.

@SpotJ: In the unlikely event of, think of how bad it'd make the Corvette look if it was ever beaten by a CTS-V.

@nick2ny: Hah, yeah, the Stratus was actually 100% stable at 114. I was impressed.

I've never had a lot of rich friends and have never had any cool car-related jobs, so the Saab 9-5 Aero I test drove last spring would probably be the fastest. That car has a (technical) top speed of 150mph, but I didn't get anywhere even close to that

@hoonthatsc: I'd agree with you, but from the sound of it the customer made repeated attempts to contact him over an accepted form of communication. (He texted the customer to say the job was done. He should be ready to then reply to texts) That, right there, makes it not OK.

Is this a goddamn question?

That's really amusing, just as Audi (in my opinion) was hitting its stride, we're going to change the design process?

@LoganSix: No, Marinette, Wisconsin.

Every Alfa Romeo ever is crack pipe by default.

Are we counting this? (Volvo 1800ES)

I like this much more than the car than it's replacing, but I was hoping for more interior pictures.

@Buckus: Oh, there will be one.

@evolansing: This is very important. Straps can be made to be just as strong as chains, and fabric smacking you in the face is quite a bit less painful/life threatening than metal smacking you in the face.

@read fast, will be gone soon: Currency manipulation can be beneficial, too. The recent weakness in the USD has made it cheaper to manufacture things here, for example.

Dear Jalopnik,

@Totenglocke42: A little backwards. TARP itself WAS the government loan.
