Ok but back to the important part - how many abortions did you sell her?

“Thanks, but I don’t need any abortions.”
I used to volunteer a lot for Planned Parenthood in Los Angeles, and much of that was “community outreach” — going to communities that had a clinic and passing out information about the services it offered. The very first time I did one of those, I had what remains the most rewarding and simultaneously most…
Uh... you know that diverse groups have diverse opinions and people get to voice them. Progressive people tend to get this. It’s not “infighting” or “eating your own” or whatever else detractors want to call it. Our diverse movement can support and respect multiple opinions at the same time - even ones individuals…
My favorite one in St. Paul, MN, USA: “We don’t want your tiny hands anywhere near our underpants!”
From St. Paul, MN...60,000 strong!
We had at least 20,000 out in St. Petersburg, FL today. It was amazing.
Faves from the sister march in Cincinnati, OH.

When I walked, a woman shared with me that she felt compelled to walk after her father was watching the coverage from his hospital bed. We were…
FWIW there was strong LGBT presence at the London march. Lots of gay men who were clearly veterans of many protests were there. Lots of purple pussy hats. The person ahead of me part of the way was trans (and I’m ace).
March on Portland, Maine (the real Portland)
Going to a March in Guelph, Ontario today. Know that women all around the world are joining you.
I’m headed to the march in Chicago. I normally am not a protester, since I don’t like crowds and have always justified not participating with “eh, it wouldn’t have made a difference.” But I think at this point I just need to do something.
