I agree. Origins is a flawless 2D platformer in my mind. Me and the kid had so much fun playing through it several times over.

I've done many productions that I would call tributes. Me and a few friends did a huge two wall spread of nothing but old school Cartoon Network shows (Dexters, Cow & Chicken, Powerpuff, Samurai Jack, ect.) and it was definitely a tribute.

IMO this is exactly why Dark Souls is such a great game.

Good Point, I forgot about the BluRay. This is something I've been wanting anyway. It was soooo hard not to buy the PS3 when MGS4 came out, now I can finally play it if I pick one up, not to mention all the other classics you mentioned.

This seems to be the general consensus. I've decided to get a PS3 on the cheap and play through the back log of good games.

I usually pick up my games the same way, if it's not something I need to play right now then I tend to pick them up on the cheap down the road.
