I can respect that decision, but everytime you walk out the the car you'd have to look at it. The SHO looks cool, this look like they didn't try. It is massively uninteresting.

The exterior is typical bland Chevy, Bleh. No doubt it is a great car. but why can't they design a sedan that doesn't look old the first time you see it? They either over do it and or they under do it.

Hmmm, but there is always the question of scale. China is developing at a scale far greater then we did. The speed at which they jumped to this level is more concerning than we when we did similar.

I'm probably totally wrong, but "sitrin"

What a cool guy.

There are a bit of a back and forth between a some folk on what a supercar is. I'm not denying that the Deloreen isn't what most would consider a supercar. But I think it is just as much as your number one.

From what I heard the original intent was for it go up against the others, but the engine program stalled and the design was changed.

This is my deffinition.

A "supercar" is a production car focused on performance from its inception. It uses exotic materials and/or production techniques and/or design in its construction and offers performance superior to contemporary cars of it's period.

^ There is my definition. All supercars are sportscars. But

You are saying the same thing other have said and still no one cares to define "supercar". So go ahead. If you know for certain what isn't one define the term.

Also many do consider the NSX a supercar. In fact it was the car the force Ferrari to stop making crap cars. The NSX is a Honda, so in your definition a Honda

Again, define "supercar".

I don't understand, does a supercar have to have more than 275HP?

Besides, most of the 276HP cars from Japan were more powerful than their advertised figures. nearly all of them made that are the wheels in stock form and that is a their advertised crank rating.

All of these car were designed

Stop going high, if you say there is a line, where is the line? You keep going way out there with $500K+ cars. That is unfair. Is a Ferrari 348 a supercar? What about a Lotus Esprit? Does it stop at the Porsche 911 turbo. How about the Viper? What about the Corevette ZR1? Which one the C6 or the C4?

The fact is that

Define "supercar".

Is the NSX a supercar? Cutting edge high tech engine derived from F1 technology? Balanced chassis made of aluminum alloy? It is pretty hard to say that wouldn't be a supercar. In fact this car sent Ferrari running.

The Gen 3 RX-7?. Twin turbo, Rotary engine. Alloy body panels, tuned suspension. The

I don't think the line is quite that crisp. As I said "budding". I don't think it is entirely fair to not consider them just because of their somewhat mass produced nature (which is the only reasoning they wouldn't be considered). but that is Japan. In the 80's they perfecting high quality manufacturing. To throw that

Those are special homologation cars. Just race cars for the road. They aren't even allowed on US roads.

They are right at the line. Notice I said "budding" They really were right there. They all had the performance and design. They were a manufactured product more than a handbuilt special item, but that is what it Japanese about them.

I think a lot of people forget that sports cars aren't necessarily fast and supercar

But that is what it was meant to be. It was intended to go up against the other Japanese budding supercars. It just failed to happen so it became a sport coupe. If it would have matured it would have been right there with the Supra, 3rd Gen RX-7, NSX, 3000GT and 300ZXTT.

My brother in law owned a low mileage Honda Accord Sedan with a manual transmission. It looked fine and drove fine. But after about a year and a half of ownership found strange tire wear. He took it to a tire shop to have new tires put on and they showed him the issue. The car had been in a wreak and fixed poorly.

Naw, awesome trip car. The car doesn't do too bad on gas when cruising (Mid 20s). The first GTS I ever saw in person was being driven by a lady who was driving cross-country and stopped in my little hometown for gas. You can fit a lot in that rear hatch.

I think this wheel is pretty sexy, sadly there is no car that it would look good on.

Seems like a legitimate bitch to me. He ordered a special car made to is specifications and they failed to deliver. Is it a bit of a first world issue? Sure. but BMW said they'd do it and didn't. If they can't make him one properly I say drive that one around Europe then give it back to them and tell them to shove
