Looking at the video, I'm not certain that the Porsche is to blame. It looks like he is turning to make the hard right after the crest and the Delta is not. Notice the yellow dashed line that comes out of the left hand side. That is the edge of the track configuration they are running. That would mean the Delta gave

Need for Speed: Motorcity has a sad.

And how did the Z-car get missed?

Z-car. It is true. A Z-car can teach you anything and everything you need to know about being an enthusiast. You can hang out with everyone, old car folks, import people. you can restore it, you can mod it, you can resto-mod it. They take engine swaps well. They get decent mileage for a 40 year old car. There are lots

.08 being too high? I'm not so sure. I think it is just about right. Most accident causing levels are quite a bit higher than this limit (not counting combinations, including sleep deprivation). Certainly it would be "better" to have a rule of 0, but at that level people are not allowed to have many over the counter

Can't thank of many other $5K buys that would get you into a well kept rare and interesting car.

So rather than a new Lotus we should have no Lotus? I think the only thing coming to these shores now is the Evora, Right? The current Elise no longer comes to these shores as it doesn't meet current new car requirements. I'm a bit worried for Lotus. I don't think the death of the new Esprit is a good thing at all. I

I'd take the Lotus. Here is a pic of my '89 Turbo and 3 other cars (86 Volvo Turbo, 63' Valiant Signet, and (can't remember the year) Miata) that made a 1000 mile tour of Northern NM this weekend.

Tell us how you really feel. I love my '89 Esprit Turbo. It isn't really fast, but with the simplest fuel and boost system, it is pretty solid. Yeah Esprits are pretty fragile, perhaps the limited power mine has helped in it staying together cheaply. But I haven't really had to bad of a run with mine and I've had it

How in the world did you make the topic of burnouts so boring? Hehe

After a bit of digging perhaps this car isn't as bad as I originally thought. $24K is probably right on the line of being an Ok deal if the car is exactly like it is in the photos. But we still don't get to see the inside , which can easily tip the scales into CP. I'd probably still shy away and rust is something you

If the price of entry was less it would be more reasonable. The asking price is what it may have been 6 years ago. But the economy is down, 6 years have past (parts become harder and harder to get); A car that needs this much work can't demand such a price. At 18-20K this would have been a NP. With a lot of work and

I don't agree. They aren't that big of a pain. My friends used to tell me that. Once I did traffic in a manual I realized they were just lazy.

Done.

He doe make a good point and they have some really hot hatches in Europe.

Meh, I'm lame. I commented before watching. I still think the suggested video would be rad.

I think Mr. Harris's issue with the Miata is that he is out of touch with his inner "broke-ass hoon". I'd really like to hear what other cheap cars he feels are as good. Certainly the Miata isn't in the same class as a limited production mid-engined car, but they aren't commonly compared to them. Certainly compared to

Here is a bit better video of that race. It looks like the Veyron didn't launch. It also seems strange that the Buggatti is not in high speed mode. From my view it seem like a very focused dragrace car that being pitted against a poorly driven mindbendingly fast supercar.

But that is a racecar. The VR1200 Twin Turbo is not. It isn't as posh as a Veyron, but the Caddy is a nice place to sit.

240K Hmmm
