I usually don’t have any issues judging things to the side while driving, I will say that switching between 3 different cars really messes up my judgement of how close I am to the car in front of me. I’m usually the best with my 2004 Corvette, however when I get back into my 2011 Saab 9-5 with it’s gigantic 5-star

If for nothing else, just so you can be like. “No, I really meant it’s a V4”

According to the service manual only the fender rear bracket needs to be removed, not the entire fender.

A big burly American V8 is almost the easiest way to learn to drive stick. The abundance of torque is a definite advantage. I would hate to learn on something like say, a 2-liter S2000.

One of the reasons I use synthetic oil...

The Explorer is like this and it totally messes you up when you expect the zero to be to the bottom left!

Now playing

It’s not a good neon burnout unless the clutch tries to escape through the hood..

The Astra is a Delta platform car like the Cobalt, ION, etc..

The Aura = Opel Vectra C

Although the V8 GMT360 which came out in 2003 doesn’t feel much faster because of the factory torque management. It’s ridiculous how much low-end torque is neutered from the V8 in these from the factory.

Have you ever interacted with an IL Air Team emissions employee? They probably mis-keyed 96,000

Still play this every once in a while on the 2600. I even still have the box and manual for it!

So, have you played Carmageddon?

#1 reason I wouldn’t daily a C4 is the incredibly tiny footwell. Even with an automatic I pressed both pedals on occasion with my size 13 feet.

I know I spent entirely too many hours piloting the Eagle...

However, these appear to be an old bosch platinum. For some reason cars with waste-spark ignition systems would develop misfires with them. Also, they no longer make this style center electrode with the single-electrode platinum.

The major stuff isn’t horrible. Sure, I can’t get the little trim strip that’s bubbled up on my dash but that’s on the short list of what’s unavailable. The mechanical bits are pretty well covered in the US between a Regal, LaCrosse and/or SRX.

I’m a little partial to this one, but I like my Turbo4 better... because 6-speed manual. And 33 MPG.

Looks handy.
