Yes, the tasteful upgrade would’ve been a becker traffic pro, or newer.

Just think if this happened to Ferrari, they could’ve used their “Handy Fire Extinguisher”
The Grand Cherokee SRT8 also has them, but they’re inactive from the factory.
As well as on countless Jaguars and Mercedes.
The only domestic US car that I know of that had them is the 2001-2003 Oldsmobile Aurora.
The Toyota V6 (Camry, ES300, etc..) had sludge issues as well.
The major issue was the oil pressure would drop in the passage to the timing chain tensioner and the engine would get out of time.
I should’ve been more clear... I was referring to the 3.5 (and later 3.2) about the timing belt. The 2.7 had the oil sludge issues. The 3.3 was the most reliable in regard to owner negligence.
Really? The 2.7 has oil sludge issues. They’re practically sell-proof at auctions.
Because the 300M didn’t come with the 2.7 for staters.
There would be a 968 in my driveway if the bang for the buck wasn’t so horrible with them.
So it’s not that they don’t complain online, they just complain to other Porsche owners online. “What happens on RennList, stays on RennList”.
The C5 was for sure. The service manual has a many Japan-specific things, especially with the lighting. The Japan-spec C5 is different from the Euro-spec C5.
I totally agree. I always wanted a 968 6-speed convertible, but i couldn’t justify it for nearly the same price as the 2004 Corvette that I got instead.
I think someone forgot to take their meds...
My dad’s old W210 E420 was horrible... In 1998
I have actually come to appreciate these after owning my C5 corvette which is dang near impossible to get the exhaust tips to line up straight and stay that way.
The rules still apply, even on the track. Everyone will ALWAYS give the hummer right-of-way.
Came to see this.. Wasn’t disappointed.
Quadrasteer- I think people were afraid it would be unreliable (it isn’t) and it was too expensive at first. GM also advertised it about as much as the Chevy SS.
