I’m totally on board with that whole idea that it’s imperfect, so you don’t worry about it. That’s one of the reasons I love having my imperfect 2004 Corvette, I can park it almost anywhere and not really worry.
Yes, the “Fake exhaust tip” was bad on the old Chrysler LeBaron. The “dual tip” factory muffler actually only had one tip that would have exhaust flow. The other one went nowhere.

I thought the Explorer had singificantly less room than the Flex as well, until I actually brought my measuring tape to the dealer. Most dimensions are within 2 inches. The Explorer also has more legroom in the front which definitely matters in my case.
