This is the same way the instructions for my Schroth AutoControl harnesses said to attach them. And the only way for them to be road-legal was to use original mounting locations. Schroth harnesses are one of the few (only?) harnesses that are DOT approved.
It makes a mockery of the brand!

Really, when I had my RWD volvo many P2 owners in the forums were claiming suspension issues and powertrain mount issues before 100k. Not to mention the failure prone early ETM, AW50-55 transmission failures and pre-haldex AWD issues (which were more due to operating and maintenance requirements). Not that I wouldn't…
