I settled this debate by not caring anymore.

This bookstore is on the same block at Comet Ping Pong of Pizzagate infamy. The residents and other business owners have got to be terrified when they see loud rightwingers causing trouble, and I’m sure that the demonstrators know that.

If I had a reason to buy one, I’d be all over a non-turbo 2004-08 Forester with the best interior package I could find (or swap one in). 

A couple of years ago, I sold our 2005 Forester XT for $6500.

I think the same thing when someone lists a car as “rare.”  If it’s actually rare enough to raise the price, the buyer is going to recognize it without the seller having to point it out

The only difference between now and the last shutdown is that Americans want a wall even less and definitely don’t want a shutdown.

It’s not clear to me that they asked for a full defunding of DHS—just a defusing or ICE (and CBP?) and noninvreases for the rest of DHS.

I bet a lot of people would treat hand grenades safely, but I don’t see that as a reason to let everyone buy them.
