You can use the center tape to help diagnose early turn in, well earlier. On corner exit the wheel should be totally unwound and if you look down and see the wheel is slightly turned you know you should turn in later next time (I hope that makes sense)

Sounds like the bike is equipped with a slipper clutch where the rear wheel is somewhat disconnected from engine braking.

..... slipper clutch perhaps? + blipping.

Some racers prefer to blip the throttle while they down shift to match revs (heel toeing is the car equivalent) others pull in the clutch, downshift, and just slowly let the clutch out to control engine braking on the rear wheel. He is doing the latter, that’s why the revs drop off then slowly come back.

I thought it was the hood ornament ;-)

Porsche GT cars come with those in yellow, no tape needed. Non-GT models have them too, but not in yellow.

The best retaliation is a clean pass.

A Brat!

Have you watched a GRC race lately? Hahaha

He’s not particularly impressed with that lap time...
